If you are trying for a baby, thinking about starting a family or currently undergoing fertility treatment, a fertility massage can be such a deeply supportive therapy for your whole self: physically, mentally and emotionally.
This nurturing, holistic treatment is offered to help you feel more rested, balanced, and connected to your body, during a time that can feel quite uncertain or emotional. Whether you are trying to conceive naturally or alongside medical support, fertility massage offers a gentle and grounding form of self-care.
What Is Fertility Massage?
This is a unique hands-on therapy that combines gentle abdominal massage, rhythmic pulsing techniques, and traditional ceremonial Rebozo (a Mexican handwoven shawl) rocking, binding and wrapping. Each treatment focuses on the reproductive and digestive systems, as well as the lower back – areas that are closely connected through shared neural pathways linking the organs, muscles, and connective tissues of the pelvis, abdomen, and spine.
When one part of this system becomes misaligned, restricted, or affected by tension or scar tissue, it can impact the whole body. Fertility massage works holistically to encourage circulation, release held tension, improve alignment, and support the body’s natural rhythms.
How Fertility Massage Can Support You
This gentle yet powerful therapy can be supportive for a wide range of concerns, including:
Reproductive support:
Menstrual or ovulation irregularities, recurring infections, miscarriage or pregnancy challenges, symptoms of PMS, low mood, cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, uterine or heavy bleeding, migraines, menopause-related symptoms, and overall fertility wellbeing.
Emotional support:
Helps with stored stress, anxiety, sexual or childhood trauma, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and deeply held emotional tension.
Digestive support:
May ease symptoms of constipation, diarrhoea, IBS, bloating, and abdominal cramping.
