What is Deep Tissue Massage?

Deep tissue (remedial) massage uses slow, sustained pressure and firm, specific strokes to reach the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It helps release chronic tension, knots and adhesions—promoting pain relief, better flexibility and faster recovery.

Your session is tailored to your body on the day and will use massage techniques inspired by both Eastern and Western traditions, including sports massage, deep tissue, holistic massage, and shiatsu. We’ll agree clear goals together (e.g. “turn my head without pain”, “sit at my desk comfortably”, “run 5K without tight calves”).
